| james dude i lost all of my fish in the 55gal the royal, jurupari, gold nugget, and tiger barbs the only survivor was the whiptail cat i got from tim, this is what i believed took place, my royal pleco got stuck behind the powerhead and died and i thought he was ok just hanging out there is all, my large ivory snail was also stuck behind a lift tube so these two animals died and my nitrates went really high which caused the barbs to contract a ich and or fungus problem due from stress of high nitrates when i caught it (my fault) not keeping a good eye on it, was way to late so i have everything back in order and i just added a pair of kribs 5 thomasi that i got from kyana and a pair of banjo catfish all are very small right now what else west african can i go with, also my baby multi's i got back when you and tim came to the club turned out to be deformed fish curved backs and gimpy tails but i got them at really small fry so i guess whowever brought them in didnt know they were deformed i have fed them to the frontosa's and congo tetras which they loved as a treat but my adult multi's are doing great i have only lost one out of 6 and that was the smallest one which the congos ate, my congos are pretty big and always hungry, hehehe, dont know why they eat as good as i do, hows the thomasi doing, later dude.. | |

| Try searching for Telmatochromis, Telmatochromis species or Telmatochromis red cheek, more than likely that is what you have come up with...they are are similar to N. brichardi or julies in their keeping, cool little fish, way less common than they should be. | |

Not sure how big they will get...I would have thought 4" but don't have much experience with them... - pittbull wrote:
