could some one tell some facts about water monitors?
im thinking about buying one. Cool
im gonna keep it in a 12ft long, 7ft tall, 8 ft deep cage with a pond big enough for it to get into, rocks, and tree stumps

They get VERY VERY BIG. IMO that enclosure will be fine for a while but not when it gets to become a large adult. I may be a little bias but when it comes to keeping big monitors I dont think many people have the money time and space for them in there home collection.

With that said, I think your setup sounds good for a little bit. Just make sure if you get one you know what you will do with it if/when it hits "full size" (possibly 8 or 9 ft.). Ans personally i felt bad giving a foot long nile monitor (who was a prick) to the store, because of space and how long they might have to keep it.

anyway thats my two cents on it.

wes dont they get much smaller than Varanus salvator which which are from asia andget 7ft-9ft

well kno im thinking about down sizing to some kind of tegu or medium sized monitor or tree monitor.

A guy like yourself needs to get a baby nile monitor and raise it up. I spent many fun hours doing just that when I was your age. I would never do it now and am so glad I did then. Don't miss out. Will
